Predictive Programming: Theory and Practice

A conversation with Guy Evans and Jamez Wilson - 6th February 2013

In this talk with the crew from Smells Like Human Spirit, Guy, Jamez and myself outlined the essence of the concept of predictive programming and specifically looked at how it influenced people's responses to the 7/7 bombings.  We also talked about the film Zero Dark Thirty, including my review of the film and my analysis of what it failed to mention.

As the conversation progressed, we critically examined some of the main tenets of the predictive programming concept, discuss my recent article on the CIA's Operation Mockingbird , and take a look at the reasons why we have seen a rise in the 'morally ambiguous protagonist' in popular culture.
